We believe the keys to the church consist in the apostles’ teaching, and that their teaching is found in Holy Scripture, which we understand by reason and receive by faith(Eph. 2:20; Matt. 16:19; 2 Peter 3:16; 2 Tim. 3:17; 2 Tim. 2:7).
We also believe the Apostles’ Creed is a faithful summary of the apostles’ teaching as recorded in Scripture, along with other historic creeds and confessions of the universal church.
